  • Military documents state that EcoHealth Alliance approached DARPA in March 2018 seeking funding to conduct gain of function research of bat borne coronaviruses. The proposal, named Project Defuse, was rejected by DARPA over safety concerns and the notion that it violates the gain of function research moratorium.
  • The main report regarding the EcoHealth Alliance proposal leaked on the internet a couple of months ago, it has remained unverified until now. Project Veritas has obtained a separate report to the Inspector General of the Department of Defense, written by U.S. Marine Corp Major, Joseph Murphy, a former DARPA Fellow.
  • “The proposal does not mention or assess potential risks of Gain of Function (GoF) research,” a direct quote from the DARPA rejection letter.
  • Project Veritas reached out to DARPA for comment regarding the hidden documents and spoke with the Chief of Communications, Jared Adams, who said, “It doesn’t sound normal to me,” when asked about the way the documents were buried.

[WASHINGTON, D.C. – Jan. 10, 2022] Project Veritas has obtained startling never-before-seen documents regarding the origins of COVID-19, gain of function research, vaccines, potential treatments which have been suppressed, and the government’s effort to conceal all of this.

The documents in question stem from a report at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, better known as DARPA, which were hidden in a top secret shared drive.

DARPA is an agency under the U.S. Department of Defense in charge of facilitating research in technology with potential military applications.

Project Veritas has obtained a separate report to the Inspector General of the Department of Defense written by U.S. Marine Corp Major, Joseph Murphy, a former DARPA Fellow.

The report states that EcoHealth Alliance approached DARPA in March 2018, seeking funding to conduct gain of function research of bat borne coronaviruses. The proposal, named Project Defuse, was rejected by DARPA over safety concerns and the notion that it violates the basis gain of function research moratorium.

According to the documents, NAIAD, under the direction of Dr. Fauci, went ahead with the research in Wuhan, China and at several sites across the U.S.

Dr. Fauci has repeatedly maintained, under oath, that the NIH and NAIAD have not been involved in gain of function research with the EcoHealth Alliance program. But according to the documents obtained by Project Veritas which outline why EcoHealth Alliance’s proposal was rejected, DARPA certainly classified the research as gain of function.

“The proposal does not mention or assess potential risks of Gain of Function (GoF) research,” a direct quote from the DARPA rejection letter.

Major Murphy’s report goes on to detail great concern over the COVID-19 gain of function program, the concealment of documents, the suppression of potential curatives, like Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine, and the mRNA vaccines.

Project Veritas reached out to DARPA for comment regarding the hidden documents and spoke with the Chief of Communications, Jared Adams, who said, “It doesn’t sound normal to me,” when asked about the way the documents were shrouded in secrecy. “If something resides in a classified setting, then it should be appropriately marked,” Adams said. “I’m not at all familiar with unmarked documents that reside in a classified space, no.”

In a video breaking this story published on Monday night, Project Veritas CEO, James O’Keefe, asked a foundational question to DARPA:

“Who at DARPA made the decision to bury the original report? They could have raised red flags to the Pentagon, the White House, or Congress, which may have prevented this entire pandemic that has led to the deaths of 5.4 million people worldwide and caused much pain and suffering to many millions more.”

Dr. Anthony Fauci has not yet responded to a request for comment on this story.

Twitter bans Project Veritas Chief of Staff Eric Spracklen

Twitter has permanently banned Eric Spracklen, the Chief of Staff for investigative reporting outlet Project Veritas, from its platform for violating its rules on “ban evasion,” less than 24 hours after Project Veritas released a bombshell report on Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Before his ban, Spracklen had been promoting the Project Veritas report which focuses on documents that appear to contradict testimony that Fauci gave under oath on gain of function research.

The report quickly gained traction on Twitter and an associated “#exposefauci” hashtag became the number one trend for several hours.

One of Spracklen’s final tweets before being banned revealed that the video of this Project Veritas report had racked up 2.8 million views.

The timing is also notable because Fauci was testifying at a Senate hearing on COVID variants as this Project Veritas report was going viral on Twitter.

Spracklen had over 200,000 followers at the time he was banned and was Project Veritas’ last remaining large account on the platform. Its main account (which had more than 735,000 followers) and the account of its founder James O’Keefe (which had over 926,000 followers) were booted earlier this year.

As with the banning of Spracklen, O’Keefe was banned on the same day that one of Project Veritas’ explosive reports was trending on Twitter.

“Twitter has PERMANENTLY SUSPENDED my account for journalism,” Spracklen said. “Twitter knows Veritas is over the target.”

Spracklen is the latest of several high-profile accounts to be banned by Twitter recently. In the last two weeks alone, the tech giant has booted Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, American immunologist and virologist Dr. Robert Malone, and @Unity4J, a popular support account for journalist Julian Assange.

In addition to the bans, Twitter has locked several users out of their accounts and introduced new censorship rules during the last 30 days.

The growing levels of censorship on Twitter and other Big Tech platforms have inspired an exodus to alternative platforms that vow to not censor their users. Free speech social network Gab, Twitter alternative GETTR, and video sharing platform Rumble have all attracted big names this year.

Fauci Scrambles To Explain Emails

After Explosive Confrontation By Sen. Rand Paul

The highly unpopular Biden regime medical advisor Anthony Fauci scrambled to explain himself after Sen. Rand Paul confronted him over using his “$420,000 salary to attack scientists that disagree” with him, as revealed in a recent email exchange that was released to the public.

Anthony Fauci, the highly unpopular Biden regime medical advisor, was grilled once again by Paul over newly released emails purportedly showing that he used his government position to smear three accomplished epidemiologists who disagreed with him.

“The idea that a government official like yourself would claim unilaterally to represent science, that any criticism of you would be considered a criticism of science itself is quite dangerous,” Senator Paul told Fauci.

“A planner who believes he is ‘the science’ leads to an arrogance that justifies in his mind using government resources to smear and to destroy the reputations of other scientists that disagree with him,” he continued.

“In an email exchange with Dr. [Francis] Collins, you conspire, and I quote directly here from the email, to create a ‘quick and devastating’ published takedown of three prominent epidemiologists from Harvard, Oxford, and Stanford. Apparently there’s a lot of ‘fringe’ epidemiologists at Harvard, Oxford, and Stanford,” Paul said to Fauci.

Paul attacked Fauci for refusing to engage with fellow scientists “on the merits” and instead labeling his opponents as “fringe.” Paul called it the “epitome of cheap politics” and called Fauci’s behavior “reprehensible.”

Fauci, taken aback by such criticism, nervously replied that in “usual fashion, Senator, you are distorting everything about me…There you go again.”

“You do the same thing every hearing,” Fauci croaked.

Paul slammed Fauci for previously dismissing the notion of COVID-19 originating from the Wuhan Institute of Virology as a “conspiracy theory,” despite mounting evidence that the theory is closer to fact than previously admitted by government health officials.

Paul pointed to the fact that more people have died from COVID-19 under the tenure of Fauci and Joe Biden than had under President Donald Trump, and slammed the unpopular medical advisor for using his status to encourage controversial policies such as vaccine mandates.

This comes after Project Veritas revealed military documents about gain-of-function research that directly contradict Fauci’s previous testimony under oath.

Congressional Members send letters to CDC

Secretaries of Defense and Health and Human Services demanding answers on COVID-19 origin and DARPA documents revealed by Project Veritas reporting

[WASHINGTON DC- January 13, 2022] Members of both chambers of Congress have sent scathing letters to government officials seeking answers in the aftermath of military documents uncovered by Project Veritas which revealed a proposal from EcoHealth Alliance to research bat-borne coronaviruses that was rejected by DARPA and a potential cover-up of those documents.

Madison Cawthorn, Bill Posey, Diana Harshbarger, Lisa McClain, Randy Weber, and Matt Gaetz sent letters to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, CDC Director Rochelle Walensky and HHS Secretary Beccerra asking them to confirm if the explosive documents were indeed “hidden in a top-secret share drive.”

The letter from members of Congress comes on the heels of a similar inquiry made by Senator Ron Johnson:

On January 10, 2022, Project Veritas published an August 2021 disclosure from U.S. Marine Corps Major Joseph Murphy concerning the origins of COVID-19. According to the document, Major Murphy sent the disclosure to the Department of Defense (DoD) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) for investigation. It is my understanding that the disclosure was subsequently referred by the DoD OIG to the DoD’s Research and Engineering office for further investigation.

According to the Major’s disclosure, EcoHealth Alliance (EcoHealth), in conjunction with the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), submitted a proposal in March 2018 to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) regarding SARS-CoVs. The proposal included a program, called DEFUSE, that sought to use a novel chimeric SARS-CoV spike protein to inoculate bats against SARS-CoVs. Although DARPA rejected the proposal, the disclosure alleges that EcoHealth ultimately carried out the DEFUSE proposal until April 2020 through the National Institutes of Health and National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases. The disclosure highlights several potential treatments, such as ivermectin, and specifically alleges that the EcoHealth DEFUSE proposal identified chloroquine phosphate (Hydroxychloriquine) and interferon as SARS-CoV inhibitors.

Johnson went on to cite Project Veritas’ report while setting a January 25th deadline for the recipients of the letter to respond to the following questions:

1.     Did the office of Research and Engineering receive a copy of the enclosed disclosure from the DoD OIG? If so, please provide the date it received the complaint.

2.     Has the office of Research and Engineering or another DoD component initiated an investigation of the allegations in the disclosure? If so, explain what investigative steps have been taken thus far. If not, please explain why not.

3.     Has the office of Research and Engineering or another DoD component interviewed or spoken with the U.S. Marine Corps Major who drafted the disclosure? If so, when? If not, please explain why not.

4.     Does DoD intend to create a written investigate report or any other document based on its investigation of allegations contained in the disclosure? If so, please provide a copy of those documents. If not, please explain why not.

Senator Johnson went on to request a briefing on the findings of any investigation into documents obtained by Project Veritas while requesting to speak with U.S. Marine Corps Major, Joseph Murphy, to discuss his disclosure as soon as possible.
